Montessori vs Traditional

While children make it clear that they have an exploring spirit, the traditional school has adopted an entirely opposite approach to education. The traditional education system sees children minds as empty boards, where the teacher, not the child, has to “write” knowledge.

The traditional learning system is strongly coercive. Teacher presents information and children are forced to listen and apprehend what the teacher said, when she said it.

This coercive method impedes child’s natural will to discover and learn on his own.

In the end, this method does not work. Teacher cannot teach if the child is not interested!
